# HCODX

> HCODX is a free browser-based developer platform with an HTML/CSS/JS editor, live preview, HTML runner, and color-system tool. No installation or account is required for the editor; its projects are saved in the user's browser.

HCODX is for developers, students and designers who want a browser-based environment to write, run, preview and export front-end code. The main editor uses Ace and stores projects in IndexedDB; the single-example HTML runner uses Monaco.

HCODX minimizes cloud dependency by running front-end editing and preview in the browser. Project files in the main editor are stored locally unless users export them. The site also uses analytics; see the privacy policy for details.
